Who You Are
You are a Direct Mail Specialist with a knack for building intuitive matrices that deliver clarity. You are capable of juggling even the most complex schedules, with uncanny precision that ensures key dates are met and processes remain on target. You speak the many dialects of Direct Mail fluently, and know how to keep the lines of communications flowing with your Mail Houses and stakeholders on day-to-day basis. You possess both an ear and an eye for detail, able to spot issues others don’t see to transform obstacles into opportunities. You are detail oriented when it comes to invoicing, managing inventory and managing costs. And above-and-beyond all, you are genuinely interested in uncovering new ways to re-invent the art of direct mail in new and delightful formats to drive performance higher.
What You'll Do
  • Assist in managing the execution, and support all operational aspects, of BHG’s Direct Mail program
  • Serve as a liaison between print vendors, BHG’s direct mail and creative teams/agencies (Internal and External)
  • Strive to maintain high quality, error free execution for each project and direct mail campaign
  • Assist in creating monthly production matrices and manage inventory
  • Manage campaign calendar to ensure key dates are met and monthly processes stay on schedule
  • Proof letter copy – ensure that body copy, customer information, offer details, legal disclosures and versions are accurate
  • Facilitate copy review for messaging and brand cohesiveness
  • Track and manage expenses – paper, postage and fulfillment cost.  Process invoices
  • Assist with keeping printed samples/seeds organized and with maintain quarterly historical archives and sample notebooks.
What You'll Need
  • 2+ years of proven experience in working with direct mail campaigns
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Experience working with internal/external creative groups/agencies, print/letter shops and internal/external data groups/vendors
  • Experience with setting up and executing complex direct mail campaigns in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of using variable copy, digital assets, wireframes and templates in letters
  • Experience with maintaining print & production matrices.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards governing direct mail and solicitations
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing organizational needs and direction
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under shifting deadlines
  • Adobe Indesign and/or other creative software capabilities preferred.  Proficient with MS Office Products
  • Ability to work remotely while maintaining the ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in financial services or healthcare industry preferred
  • Experience creating a resource/library of content distribution strategies and tactics
