The Senior Compensation Analyst will be responsible for providing compensation and analytic reporting. In addition to overall Compensation support to the business entities.
What You'll Do
  • The Senior Compensation Analyst will participate in the documentation of all compensation-related business practices. Makes recommendations for business process improvements, as appropriate. Assists in the testing, implementation, and communication of new business processes and any systems that support our business processes.
  • The Senior Compensation Analyst will Counsel PDBPs, Talent Acquisition team members, and others within the HR division on many aspects of the company’s reward philosophy, market pricing, internal equity, job evaluation, salary structures, and other aspects of compensation to ensure that BHG is able to effectively recruit and retain top-tier talent.
  • Participates in the development of incentive compensation plan designs (e.g., executive compensation, short- and long-term plans, sales incentive compensation, etc.
  • Conducts benchmarking and participates in approved salary surveys through the collection and reporting of data to third-party survey providers to determine the organization’s market relationship.
  • Develops recommendations to adjust salary structure in response to changing organizational needs and market values.
  • Conducts job analysis; interviews management and function leaders to advise departments concerning the design of their organizational structure.
  • Prepares complex economic and cost impact models of compensation initiatives for individually assigned activities or as part of larger Total Rewards department initiatives.
  • Reviews proposed salary actions to ensure conformance with established guidelines and policies. 
  • Oversees quarterly bonus and annual salary planning process.
  • Reviews compensation data on college grads and intern pay to support the Early Talent Program initiatives.
  • Keeps current in all aspects of compensation through formal and informal training, participation in local and national professional organizations, continuous learning and reading, and general professional curiosity.
  • May coach, mentor, guide, and provide oversight to less senior Compensation Analysts.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted partner to HR team members, Finance, and other Business Leaders.
  • Other Total Rewards duties and projects may be assigned.
What You'll Need
  • 5+ years of experience working within a corporate compensation function or compensation consulting practice.
  • Previous experience owning analysis and conducting market studies and trends, packaging up data findings to tell the story.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • Advanced PowerPoint, MS Excel skills, and advanced analytics skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Project and process management.
  • Experience with national surveys and job pricing platforms like CompAnalyst or Payscale.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • HRIS software experience; preferably with Workday.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FLSA and other regulatory requirements - both Federal & State.
