What You'll Do
  • Work closely with business end-users, analytics, operations, and managers to identify and document business requirements for changes to existing and new business initiatives
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining procedural and technical documents detailing the company’s workflow and strategy
  • Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and provide recommendations to improve current business strategies
  • Design, build and implement changes for the BHG’s credit processing strategies
  • Create and monitor reports to ensure credit process efficiency and alignment with strategy.
  • Function as liaison between credit department, information systems group, vendors, and other departments, as needed
  • Responsible for active involvement with Quality Assurance teams; defining the QA strategy, test plans, and use cases for QA activities
What You'll Need
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or another similar quantitative field
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in a business analyst, product owner or similar role
  • A firm understanding of AGILE/SCRUM Methodology and Product Owner responsibilities is a must
  • Demonstrated proficiency in writing and analyzing Business processes & procedures
  • Must possess a highly creative and analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to interpret requests and give quality results in a timely manner
  • Project Coordination/Management experience preferred
  • Experience working with consumer and commercial credit algorithms is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (experience in MS SQL Server preferred)
