Who You Are

You are a motivated Analytical professional who is passionate about independent thinking and problem-solving. You excel at understanding and interpreting risk, and have experience with data analysis, predictive analytics, and reporting. You are a self-motivated problem solver and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will own a transformational road map and have 100% accountability to execute. 
What You’ll Do
  • Partner with BHG’s point of sale product owners to identify key business opportunities to grow BHG’s point of sale portfolio 
  • Work cross-functionally with department heads from Marketing, Production, Development, and Operations to collect data and create actionable insights 
  • Be responsible for the credit decision strategy. This includes everything that goes into determining whether an individual gets approved or declined, and the amount an individual is approved for
  • Maximize the number of borrowers approved while remaining within default risk guidelines
  • Establish and maintain effective performance tracking and forecasts; identify improvement opportunities, form hypotheses, proposals, designs, and implements tests to drive strategy enhancement and optimization
  • Develop and automate reports, iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for analytical needs
  • Facilitate implementation of work product and ensure accuracy
What You’ll Need
  • 6+ years of experience in Risk, Credit, or Collections in Consumer Finance
  • 4+ years leading and managing high-performance teams
  • 3+ years of experience in performing performance analysis on large and diverse consumer credit, including experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau/ Power BI
  • Proficient with SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to develop strong, open, and collaborative working relationships by gaining trust to successfully manage and deliver against expectations
  • Consistently exhibit natural curiosity and dynamism
  • Ability to develop road maps and prioritize team’s workload as well as remain hands-on
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering or related quantitative fields
