Who You Are
We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Administrator specializing in data cleaning, archiving, and analytics to ensure our CRM data is accurate, well-organized, and actionable. This role will primarily focus on managing the integrity of our Salesforce data, ensuring data hygiene is maintained, archiving older data appropriately, and providing data insights to support business operations and decision-making. You will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and usability of our Salesforce data to drive productivity and business intelligence.
What You'll Do
  • The Salesforce Administrator will perform regular audits of Salesforce data to identify and correct errors, duplicates, incomplete entries, and inconsistencies.
  • Implement and monitor automated data validation rules, workflows, and triggers to maintain data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure the data they input adheres to Salesforce data standards.
  • The Salesforce Administrator will develop and execute strategies to archive outdated or unused data while ensuring compliance with data retention policies.
  • Manage data storage limits and ensure efficient use of Salesforce storage.
  • Implement archiving tools and integrations for long-term data storage, such as Grax.
  • The Salesforce Administrator will design, develop, and maintain customized reports, dashboards, and KPIs to provide business insights.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify data analysis needs, translating them into actionable reports and metrics.
  • Support business units with data extraction and preparation for deeper analysis or business presentations.
  • The Salesforce Administrator will enforce data governance policies, ensuring proper data entry, usage, and quality control measures.
  • Act as the point person for Salesforce data management and establish best practices for maintaining a clean, reliable dataset.
  • The Salesforce Administrator will provide user support on Salesforce functionalities related to data cleaning and reporting.
  • Train users on data management best practices and data entry processes to minimize errors.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce developers and consultants to implement necessary system changes or enhancements.
  • Document data object hierarchy and use cases.
  • The Salesforce Administrator will assist in integrating third-party data tools with Salesforce to streamline data cleaning and analysis efforts.
  • Automate data management tasks where possible to optimize efficiency and data integrity.
What You'll Need
  • 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Data Analyst, with a focus on data cleaning and analytics.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Reports, Dashboards, Data Loader, and Excel for data manipulation.
  • Experience with Salesforce data archiving strategies and tools, including Grax.
  • Salesforce Admin certification (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of tools like Workbench, Field Trip, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Experience working with data governance frameworks and policies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and correcting data inconsistencies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Data Accuracy Rate: Percentage of error-free records after data cleaning.
  • Reduction in Duplicate Records: Measurable decrease in the number of duplicate entries over time.
  • Data Archiving Compliance: Percentage of data archived in compliance with retention policies.
  • Report and Dashboard Utilization: Frequency and relevance of reports used by business teams.
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: Feedback from users regarding data integrity and reporting quality.
