What You'll Do
  • Continuously learn and expand knowledge in order to be viewed as the subject matter expert for key competitors and their products in order to develop a clear point-of-view on where the marketplace is headed. Translate that data to identify where opportunities exist for BHG and our growing portfolio of products and solutions
  • Lead all aspects of Competitive Intelligence project management from kick-off to results
  • Research customer choices, market trends and competitor’s strategies, interview leaders in the field to identify BHG's key competitors and their strategies/strengths/weaknesses as it relates to each product in our portfolio
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and data, as well as maintain files, records, and correspondence for meetings related to Competitive Intelligence and Go To Market strategies
  • Ensure project objectives are well defined and actionable
  • Lead detailed planning & project set-up with internal product and marketing partners
  • Create and deliver analysis and findings
  • Present findings to key stakeholders via multiple modalities
  • Support internal insight communication and education efforts (webinars, trainings, working sessions, newsletters, etc.) designed to expand competitive knowledge across the business
  • Own Battle Card development, maintenance and deployment to sales team(s)
  • Develop strong knowledge of secondary research portals and marketing intelligence tools in order to support key stakeholder requests
  • Lead efforts on CI platform requirements gathering and deployment (Klue, etc…) in collaboration with our internal sales technology team(s)
  • Assist Sales Enablement Leader in creation of monthly Competitive Intelligence newsletter
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Economics, Behavioral Sciences or in lieu of degree, a high school diploma and 5+ years progressive professional work experience.
  • At least 2 years' of relevant experience in competitive intelligence, market research, consumer insights, brand/marketing strategy, business intelligence, or other strategic roles supporting go to market initiatives
  • Critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to understand and respond to complex content and questions from both internal and external customers
  • Strong analytical skills with an outcomes focus
  • Able to work harmoniously and effectively within team and across teams
  • Successful history of executing and analyzing research and/or competitive intelligence projects
  • Successfully manages time and multiple competing priorities to ensure deadlines are always met
  • Strong project management experience with a record of delivering on time and with excellence in quality, preferred experience with and/ or Asana
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
  • Fundamental knowledge of financial services and/or consumer and commercial lending business models, trends and marketplace dynamics is preferred
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Trustworthiness: In this position you will often have access to sensitive information, need to be fully trusted 
  • Multitasking: You will be regularly handling more than one task at a time while keeping tabs on executives’ schedules and keeping them on track.
