Who You Are

We are looking for a Credit Card Risk Analyst to help BHG’s efforts to turn our data into insights in the credit card space. You will team with world-class professionals to develop and test strategies that ultimately impact the bottom line and grow BHG’s credit card portfolio in an analytically sound way. What You’ll Do
  • The Credit Card Risk Analyst will partner with BHG’s credit card product owners to identify key business opportunities to grow BHG’s credit card portfolio
  • The Credit Card Risk Analyst will work cross-functionally with department heads from Marketing, Production, Development, and Operations to collect data and create actionable insights related to BHG’s credit card portfolio
  • Leverage unsupervised and supervised learning techniques to increase the effectiveness of BHG’s credit card acquisition, portfolio management, and collections strategies and tactics
  • Establishes and maintains effective performance tracking; identify improvement opportunity, form hypothesis, proposes, designs and implements tests to drive strategy enhancement and optimization
What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis in a corporate setting
  • Looking for a consultative, collaborative, problem-solving approach and be able to handle multiple concurrent work streams at once
  • Advanced experience with SQL (MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle SQL)
  • Knowledge/Experience of programming languages (R, Python)
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboarding (PowerBI, Tableau, Cognos, ect.)
  • Experience with business analysis and/or data modeling, including advanced analytics such as machine learning, clustering, and predictive modeling
  • Have a strong mathematical foundation (proficiency in statistics is a plus), an excellent analytical mind, and must be able to thrive with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Undergraduate degree in data science, data analytics, engineering, statistics, information systems, or similar
  • Good to Have:
  • Post-collegiate work experience in data analytics in a business environment
  • Experience working in credit card acquisition, portfolio management, or collections analytics
  • Masters degree in data science, data analytics, engineering, statistics, information systems, or similar
