Who You Are
You are a motivated Accounting or Finance professional who is passionate about the financial industry. You excel at being detail-oriented and have experience working in a fast-moving environment. In this role, you will be a self-starter who is skilled in communicating with cross-functional partners who have different backgrounds, levels and experiences. A successful candidate will be able to manage complex workflows that involve multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships across teams.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the process and preparation of forecast reporting packages, FP&A management dashboards and reporting of key metrics and business units.
  • Build, maintain, and continually improve long-term financial models and strategies. This includes maintaining a detailed three statement interactive model to forecast key metrics for 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year time horizons.
  • Assist Capital Markets team on financial modeling and scenario analysis of current transactions and other corporate development initiatives in the pipeline.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity and delivery of all data requests related to reporting matters including press releases, investor presentations and earnings reports.
  • Liaise with the Accounting team to ensure accuracy of monthly and quarterly Financial Statements.
  • Prepare loan covenant compliance statements required by lenders and other agencies related to the company’s debt commitments.
  • Assist Senior Director on modeling or forecasting certain accounting and regulatory matters, industry trends, opportunities and risks.  
  • Regularly interact with the CFO and other members of BHG Financial leadership team, work seamlessly with all other functions including Accounting, Operations, Legal and Tax, as well as outside services such as auditors and law firms.
  • Provide financial, business and modeling expertise and guidance to junior members of the FP&A team.

What You'll Need
  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CFA, CPA or MBA is a plus
  • At least 9-12 years of relevant FP&A experience, with strong leadership skills and the ability to think independently, strategically and operationally.
  • Extensive expertise in financial modeling in preparing executive summary presentations that capture the inputs, assumptions, key metrics, and document key drivers around the outputs
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP to be able to model appropriately and consistently with BHG’s external reporting and key metrics to drive decisions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, excellent skills in excel modeling and PowerPoint.
  • Prior industry and/or asset securitization experience is desirable.
