You excel at understanding and interpreting risk, and have experience with data analysis, predictive analytics, and reporting. What You'll Do
  • The Sr. Quantitative Analyst will analyze data using statistical methods with the use of R or Python statistical packages. 
  • The Sr. Quantitative Analyst will present the results using charts and MS PowerPoint and Power BI tools. 
  • The Sr. Quantitative Analyst will assist in building proprietary forecasting models specific to BHG’s loans that utilize microeconomic data.
  • The Sr. Quantitative Analyst will conduct A/B testing focused on rate changes in customers’ propensity to fund a loan. 
  • The Sr. Quantitative Analyst will conduct an analysis of macro and microeconomic factors on loan level profitability and customer charge-off rates. 
  • Study economic and statistical data and lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics including credit risk analytics, customer segmentation, optimization, and machine learning algorithms to solve economic business problems. 
  • Operate as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis, test and design of experiment, analysis methodology, modeling & application, and economic impact analysis.
  • Recommend solutions for BHG based on a number of microeconomic factors like changes in a competitive environment, customer demand shifts, changes in bank rates. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand their economic business needs, formulate and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables, and presentations.
  • Establish and maintain effective performance tracking and forecasts; identify improvement opportunities, form hypotheses, proposals, designs, and implements tests to drive strategy enhancement and optimization.
  • Develop and automate reports, iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for analytical needs.
  • Facilitate implementation of work product and ensure accuracy.
What You'll Need
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis in a corporate setting
  • 2+ years of experience in Credit Risk Strategy, Collection Strategy, Marketing Analytics, Portfolio Analytics, Optimization, Modeling/Data Science, or related is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
  • Proficient with writing SQL queries, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and aptitude to pick up new technical skills and domain knowledge
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Experience in SQL, R, Python
