Who You Are
 
You are a motivated Helpdesk Specialist who enjoys working in a high-energy environment while assisting BHG employees with any technical issues. You provide support and customer service on company-supported computer applications and services. You are a multi-tasker who has experience with ticketing systems and other modern software.
What You'll Do
  • The office hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 12 PM - 9 PM PST.
  • Use common tools to manage and address tickets assigned via Servicedesk.
  • Basic Active Directory management, password resets, disable user profiles, add/remove groups.
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware and network issues.
  • Assist in providing user training in a multitude of software applications with the ability to convey technical instruction in easy to understand terms.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain standard office equipment and applications, drive mapping and troubleshooting printers, scanners and phone equipment.
  • Backup and restore user data files and systems in the event of hardware failure.
  • Install, configure and upgrade PC software and operating systems as part of employee onboarding.
  • Provide technical support over the phone or Web to employees at all locations (DFL, SNY, NYC).
  • Gain a working knowledge of all Help Desk related procedures for desktop hardware/software installation and configuration as documented in Sharepoint.
  • Gain a working knowledge of Tier 2 devices and their configurations (Lifesize, Videoconference, Xerox Printsafe print servers, Cisco phone system, Fortigate SPAM appliance).
What You'll Need
  • 3-5 years of related help desk support experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Experience troubleshooting employee technology, software, and hardware issues.
  • Ability to work Monday - Friday from 12 PM - 9PM PST.
