Who You Are

You are a motivated IT Project Manager professional who is passionate about the successful development of the project's procedures of initiation, planning, and execution. You excel at continuously adapting in an agile environment with fast delivery times and have experience managing multiple concurrent projects. You are a dependable, persistent, self-disciplined, and goal oriented individual, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can ultimately meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
  • The IT Project Manager will be a key facilitator empowering teams and clearing potential roadblocks
  • The IT Project Manager should be a Change Management expert
  • The IT Project Manager should act as a strategic coach helping teams master tools, workflows, and processes
  • Planning, leading, organizing, and motivating Agile project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality
  • Facilitate successful delivery of software/application projects with agile development teams that provide exceptional business value to users
  • Manage project timelines and create roadmaps to illustrate the project flow, deliverables, deadlines, and dependencies
  • Collaborate with development teams to properly plan and forecast team capacity
  • Manage and continuously align project plans with agile project management best practices
  • Ultimate responsibility for the project’s success 
  • Promote a professional and collaborative environment among multiple stakeholders in a project team – product, development, QA, business
  • Outline the tasks involved in the project and delegate accordingly; be proactive in follow-ups to ensure outstanding tasks are being closed in a timely manner
  • Ability to identify and formulate mitigation strategies for project issues and risks; follows through with all involved to mitigate issues through completion
  • Translate sprint backlogs into forecasted milestone completion dates; effectively report on progress against the projected milestones
What You’ll Need
  • The IT Project Manager should have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Agile Project Management
  • Knowledge and experience with software development methodologies including waterfall and agile, experience with scrum framework strong bonus
  • Experience using JIRA in an agile development environment
  • The IT Project Manager should have experience with agile concepts – user story creation, sprint planning, daily scrum meeting, retrospective and reviews
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others
  • Strong business aptitude, ideally with experience in a startup culture
  • Comfort with quickly changing priorities and a high level of adaptability and flexibility
  • Scrum Master certification is a plus
