Who You Are
Our SBA Team is looking for a self‐driven, autonomous and ambitious individual with the ability and willingness to learn Fund-Ex Solution Group's financial products and services – which is the Small Business Administration’s 7(a) loan program. You will experience working in a high‐energy environment while continuing to gain extensive knowledge of the financial industry.  The work you perform is critical to our success, and will have a substantial impact on FSG’s business operations and customers.  
What You'll Do
  • Master the Standard Operating Procedure issued by the SBA
  • Excellent communication with top-notch customer service approach
  • Document activity using our CRM from origination to closing of loan request
  • Works closely with SBA Business Development Officers and SBA Credit Underwriters to determine the information and documentation needed for packaging of loan at origination
  • May require direct contact with borrower
  • Works closely with SBA Business Development Officers to submit loan applications to SBA Credit Underwriters for credit decision
  • Works closely with SBA Business Development Officers, SBA Credit Underwriters and SBA Closers to facilitate loan movement through loan closing and funding process
  • Reviews information being collected and communicates any needed changes to appropriate parties for clearance and approvals
  • Acts as intermediary for consistent borrower communication throughout the SBA process 
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong relationship-building skills needed to build rapport with clients quickly and professionally
  • Analytical/problem-solving skills are essential
  • 2 to 5 years of sales experience (inside phone/intangibles preferred) along with a track record of success as a closer and achieving goals and quotas
  • Must have knowledge of SBA industry
  • Detail oriented with strong coordinating skills
  • Thrive on energy, passion and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to learn and be coachable
