Who You Are

You are the glue that binds the Product and Engineering teams and taps the collective intelligence of the team to deliver value on a consistent basis. Our Scrum teams play an active role in supporting BHG’s Transformation. You are responsible for enabling the Product vision through short delivery cycles. You will run the scrum events to plan and execute work using continuous feedback and learning loops to deliver quality solutions.
What You'll Do
  • Actively support and manage high-performing Agile teams supporting BHG’s digital transformation.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, sprint demo, sprint retrospective, sprint review and sprint execution.
  • Bring visibility to impediments whilst helping remove and prevent them without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Coach and manage team members in Agile processes with focus on being self–organizing using an Agile mindset.
  • Identify trends and continuous process improvement opportunities through analysis of complex data sets and preparation of executive management dashboards.
  • Ability to extract and manipulate data from software workflow management tools like JIRA with the goal of bringing visibility to impediments whilst helping remove and prevent them.
  • For Agile scrum projects, organize data using analytic tools leveraging JIRA ( eg – Rich filter-based automated dashboards ) to stabilize team velocity, on-going review of sprint burndown, capacity utilization, estimation variance, defect status, backlog health and commitment.
  • For Kanban scrum projects, build out metrics focused on work in progress, cycle time, throughput and cumulative flow diagrams.
  • Prepare daily, monthly and quarterly reporting dashboards to support a healthy backlog, daily scrums, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with the development team to create automated continuous integration ( CI) and continuous delivery (CD) processes.
  • Play an active role in building out the Agile Center of Competency and sharing /implementing Agile delivery best practices across the organization.
What You'll Need
  • Be a servant leader that enables the teams to reach their full potential.
  • Experience in playing the role of active change agent while helping execute on the transformation vision.
  • Be a subject matter expert in Agile best practices and coach the team members in Agile processes ( scrum, Kanban ).
  • Be a problem solver that can use root cause analysis for breaking down complexity.
  • Expertise in tools (eg JQL) for building rich filter-based dashboards for better decision making.
  • Promote a culture of transparency and accountability through reporting and building trust through team work and collaboration.
