Who You Are
You are an experienced communications leader, who knows how to develop and execute corporate and PR-driven marketing programs that build brands, drive sales, and establish executives as thought leaders within the financial industry. You have an innate talent for building brands through the written word, and are always looking for new ways to captivate audiences and engage customers. You’re passionate about what you do, and are ready to join a growing company where you can make an immediate impact and bring your ideas to life.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute an industry leading communications strategy further positioning BHG Financial as the next generation Fintech solution.
  • Drive executive visibility programs that incorporate speaking engagements, paid and owned media engagements, as well as a strong visibility in digital channels.
  • Implement and maintain a robust measurement program, including media, content, and social media measurement, and generate monthly reports for the business.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with top tier corporate and industry media, consumer groups, communities, trade associations, and other affiliated non-industry groups.
What You'll Need
  • 10-15+ years of communications experience leading, creating and executing communications strategies, plans and content for multi-brand organizations or enterprises.
  • In-house, communications consulting, and/or agency experience applicable.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field with a preference for majors in Communications, English, Journalism.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate a range of topics -- including in urgent/crisis situations -- into clear, compelling communications that resonate with internal audiences.
  • Strong proficiency using communications tools such as MS Word, Power Point, Excel, digital and social platforms, and virtual meeting platforms (i.e., Zoom, MS Teams).
