Who You Are
You are a motivated IT professional who is passionate about all things database related.  You excel at problem solving, have the ability to work alone or with a team, and have experience managing a complex SQL environment. You are a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can take on any challenge that comes your way.
What You'll Do
  • 100% Remote/Work from home opportunity.
  • Assist the Development Team in database design and performance tuning, install and configure database servers, create disaster recovery plans, and perform disaster recovery testing.
  • Monitor database performance, system health, backup, and SQL agent jobs.
  • Work with developers to troubleshoot build breakages and resolve build issues in a timely manner.
  • Data Masking experience and best practices
  • Perform merges to production branches and deploy software, as required, while helping to define best practices for source control, continuous integration, and automated testing.
  • Balance multiple projects, manage daily workload, and prioritize tasks.
  • Set up servers for production, user acceptance testing, and development environments.
  • Be hands-on and support installations and modifications to application servers and databases.
  • Participate in some after-hours work and provide on-call support, when needed.
What You'll Need
  • 8+ years’ experience in database management, software development, server administration, or configuration management is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to understand Data Masking, code branching, merging, and versioning.
  • Comprehend software development lifecycles and Service Oriented Architectures.
  • Team player and have the ability to effectively communicate with business owners, end users, and engineers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or equivalent work experience.
