You are a motivated student or graduate who is a problem solver, highly organized and loves numbers. You are passionate about driving results and has a creative approach to solving problems.  This is a unique opportunity where you will be exposed to a broad range of capital markets initiatives, have visibility of the firm’s span of business actives and understand how strategy and leverage company data to drive business solutions. 
What You'll Do
  • You will be part of the core team to create innovative capital markets solutions to help fund BHG’s rapid growth.
  • Execute deals through credit analysis, cashflow modeling, due diligence and legal documentation.
  • Work across the spectrum of funding initiatives, including loan sales, securitization, warehouse financing and other innovative financing strategies.
  • Assist in preparation of ABS investors materials and executive summary, including origination trends analysis, credit analysis, deal comparable, etc.
  • Source and develop relationships with external credit-based investors or banking.
  • Build and maintain reporting and tool to facilitate capital market strategies.
  • Work with team members to enhance our in-house analytical capabilities.
  • Assist with BHG securitization transaction.
  • Assist with ad hoc analyses that help answer specific business questions.
  • Work with different departments to assist with data reconciliation and address data discrepancy in a timely manner.
  • Help overall company’s financing planning and strategy.
What You'll Need
  • 5+ years of experience in structured finance or capital markets
  • Experience negotiating, structuring and executing ABS financing transactions, including warehouse facilities, loan sales/forward flow or securitization.
  • Experience with commercial and consumer credit assets (small business loan, consumer loan, credit card, patient lending, franchise loan) is preferred.
  • Superior financial modeling skills, with experience modeling and evaluating ABS transaction
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and critically, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and self-motived.
  • Experience with coding (particularly in VBA, R, PowerBI and SQL) is a plus
  • Major in Finance, Business, Data Science, Operations Research, Engineering or related quantitative fields
