Who You Are

You are a motivated, experienced agile practitioner who is passionate about teams, delivery of value, and continuous improvement. You enjoy leading agile leaders, deeply understand Scrum, and have a working knowledge of other agile frameworks. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can help Scrum Masters and teams achieve their potential to deliver key initiatives and roadmaps in a timely manner.
What You'll Do
  • Foster a culture of innovation by modelling and promoting agile values, principles, and practices.
  • Coach, mentor, and grow your team towards career goals and increasingly high standards of agile practice.
  • Engage and align top talent through strong recruitment, mentoring, and hands-on leadership and career management.
  • Define and pursue goals for the Scrum group to increase the overall fidelity and quality of agile practice at BHG.
  • Champion changes that will remove impediments, improve alignment, and reduce friction across teams.
  • Align Scrum Masters to teams, balance workloads, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Standardize Agile metrics and provide executive reporting
What You'll Need
  • 10+ years of experience as an agile practitioner
  • A track record of successfully developing and leading Scrum Masters
  • Five to seven years of management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams
  • Experience with multiple agile frameworks
  • Deep fluency in the Agile Manifesto and Scrum Guide
  • Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, and agile diagnostic skills
  • Expertise in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Aha!
  • A-CSM, PSM-III, or comparable certification
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate the vision, and inspire and motivate others
  • Effective influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain and promote agility across different constituencies
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
