Who You Are
You are a motivated Organizational Development and Talent Management professional who is passionate about developing the capacity of leaders, individuals, and teams to meet our organizational goals and objectives.  The role provides consultation to leaders through People Development partnerships by contributing to and driving the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of leadership development, employee development, and organizational development programs and services designed to improve enterprise effectiveness and create a talent infrastructure to support BHG Financial’s success. 
What You’ll Do
  • Develops and implements culturally aligned organizational capabilities, including frameworks, methodologies, infrastructure, tools, and metrics needed to manage complex organizational development activities and deliver on expected business outcomes.
  • Leads/supports complex initiatives to advance competence, capacity, and performance of the enterprise at all levels through competency model development, robust development programs, assessments, leader transition planning processes, performance management, and succession planning programs and tools.
  • Recommends and delivers programs, services, and interventions validated through proven theory and practice.  Stays current with trends in the talent and organizational development industry.  Continuously upgrades professional skills and self-leadership.
  • Recommends and supports multi-faceted approaches to tiered associate development with clearly articulated paths and resources.
  • Leads initiatives to analyze and close enterprise-wide employee skill, knowledge, and performance gaps.
  • Consults with People Development Business Partners, Employee Experience, People Relations, and other key stakeholders to assess BHG Financial’s needs.  Designs and delivers programs aligned with BHG Financial’s values, culture, and strategy as needed with various levels of leadership and teams.
  • Takes enterprise-wide concepts and synthesizes data points to assess, design, develop, implement, evaluate (and adjust) strategies to meet enterprise and business lines’ key results.  Articulates ROI as appropriate.
  • Leads/heavily supports high-level projects with enterprise-wide scope and high impact on business outcomes, including research, detailed planning, and execution of initiatives and systems (e.g., Workday Talent, Workday Performance, Workday Learning, etc.).
  • Acts as the go-to person for People Development Business Partners, leaders, and associates for day-to-day activities in the absence of the Sr. Manager of OD and Talent Management.
  • Recommends development and training of People Development Business Partners to support their growth and development in delivering leadership and employee and organizational development solutions to customers.  May include partnering with or supporting the independent delivery by the People Development Business Partners.
  • Integrates diversity and inclusion into all development initiatives, programs, and systems.
  • Performs other functions as assigned.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of OD and/or Talent Management experience
  • Experience in developing programs, activities, and interventions within organizations, beginning with current state diagnosis through the application of appropriate interventions and follow-up.  This includes developing programs and services and applying models including theory, concepts, and frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of OD theories, concepts, and frameworks directly related to the art and science of organizational development and change.
  • Expertise in adult learning competencies, including needs assessment, instructional design, presentation, group facilitation, various digital delivery methodologies, and learning transfer evaluation.
  • Process design, team project management, problem-solving, influencing, and strong analytical skills are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills are required.
  • Track record of helping to create and execute a Talent Management and OD vision
  • Experience in organizational design and analytics
  • Experience in design and facilitation of leadership development
  • Experience in design and execution of talent assessment and succession planning
