Who You Are

We are looking for a Team Lead, SQL BI Developer to help BHG’s efforts to turn our data into insights. You will team with world-class professionals to develop and test strategies that ultimately impact the bottom line. You will assist in implementation and execution of major roadmap projects. You will do it in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibility, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation.
What You'll Do
  • The Team Lead, SQL BI Developer will develop/Maintain/Support new and existing data flows from multiple source systems. 
  • The Team Lead, SQL BI Developer will assist in migrating KPI reports from SSRS to PowerBI
  • The Team Lead, SQL BI Developer will assist in monitoring reporting automations, recipient lists and recurrences
  • Design and develop database structures, SQL views, SQL Stored Procedures, and reports
  • Leverage data mining, analytics, and business intelligence to provide actionable recommendations and solve business/operational problems.
  • The Team Lead, SQL BI Developer will work closely with business users to interpret the data needs of the business and translate those to logical and physical data models and reports
  • Support and maintain current reporting platform and develop reports and dashboards in Power BI
  • Oversees and ensures data store and data mart refresh processes are executed on schedule and successfully. Proactively monitors batch processes to prevent unexpected down times, addresses batch issues as they arise, collaborates with internal and external team to troubleshoot system errors as needed.
  • Ensure data integrity through Quality Control and validation processes
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of business requirements & business concepts
  • Routine support and training of business software including, but not limited to, Power BI, Tableau & Rshiny
What You'll Need
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with SQL Server including SSIS, Stored Procedures
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL queries
  • 2+ years of experience managing or leading a team of engineers
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud services such as Azure
  • ETL experience with multiple data sources and transport methods.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-location environment
  • Strong customer service and analytical skills
  • High energy level required to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Four-year college degree in an information technology field or equivalent working experience
  • Prior finance experience is preferred.
