As a Vendor Relations Specialist you will be involved with onboarding and maintaining relationships of 3rd-Party Vendors for BHG and supporting the Data Management Group
What You'll Do
  • Identify, contact, and complete applications for potential vendors
  • Perform activities associated with the continuous onboarding and maintenance of service providers
  • Negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors across the U.S., Puerto Rico & Other Countries to expand the existing service network based on business need, specific product, geographic location, etc.
  • Review designated service agreements and ensure agreements are signed and returned with appropriate onboarding documentation, W-9 forms, any systems requirements, and additional requirements to put the product in place
  • Maintain professional and productive relationships with internal business units, service providers, and legal counsel
  • Research, investigate, and follow-up with service providers regarding any internal complaints, issues, invoice disputes, and any questions
  • Escalate critical issues to management
  • Handle and process projects and additional assignments from management
  • Excellent communications, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent knowledge of standard office-related software
  • Previous vendor relationship experience preferred
What You'll Need
  • 3+ years of previous customer service, and/or call center experience.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Bachelors degree
  • Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule.
