Who You Are
You live and breath all aspects of qualitative and quantitative market research design and execution, and know how to translate data into insights that have a profound impact on businesses. You are a champion of the customer, and use innovative methodologies to build compelling stories and recommendations that drive a more engaging, personalized experience. What You'll Do
  • The Vice President of Marketing Research will commission, oversee, and review the collection and analysis of customer demographics, preferences, pain points, and buying habits to improve marketing campaigns.
  • Build our market research division to drive brand and category strategy for BHG and our family of companies
  • You will also keep a pulse on the industries we serve, as well as the competitive landscape, and identify potential markets, product development needs, and other factors affecting demand.
  • This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and will be responsible for the planning, execution, and analysis of market research programs across BHG and our family of companies.
  • Monitor industry trends, collect competitive intelligence, and build Voice of Customer programs, to provide actionable recommendations and frameworks to guide strategic business and marketing decisions
  • Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports in the design and execution of various research projects
  • Review analyses, presentations and reports, making sure that they deliver commercially valuable insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Work closely with marketing executives to build integrated, data-driven campaigns to drive BHG’s credibility in the market, as well as support lead generation goals
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, statistics, research, or related field
  • 10+ years’ experience designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research programs
  • 5+ years’ experience leading and developing market research teams
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing principles and research techniques
  • Must have proficiency with analytical software applications; SPSS, SQL, SAS/R/Python
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing research programs for over seven (7) products, spanning multiple industries and specialties
